Onto the next game.

Rhenz Abando was quick to shrug off yet another outstanding performance from him as he steered Colegio de San Juan de Letran to a rousing 68-57 victory over University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in the NCAA Season 97 men's basketball tournament on Sunday.

The lanky forward showed flashes of brilliance with a new career-high of 24 points to go along with five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block but Abando said the focus is already on the next game against Mapua University on Friday.

"Kailangan focus pa rin in the next game. 'Yung nangyari ngayon tapos na so kailangan na mag-focus sa next game," said Abando, who broke his previous personal-best of 19 points that he set in Letran's opening day game

Abando also reiterated that his confidence is rooted in the trust and belief that his teammates and coaches have been giving him since his arrival.
