The Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) on Thursday seized the featured spot on ‘Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96’ with their enigmatic star CJ Perez leading the crew.
Dubbed as the ‘Baby Beast’, Perez shared his absorbing journey from being the Pirates’ main guy to being an essential part of powerhouse team San Miguel Beermen in the PBA.
The 6-foot-2 guard also shared his memorable moments as part of the LPU program under the guidance of then head coach Topex Robinson, whom Perez considers as a father figure.
Lyceans Juvic Colonia, Mark Lumibao, and Niño Ibañez also shared their side hustles during the height of the pandemic where they made extra effort to earn an income.
Kapuso actor Yasser Marta, himself a graduate of Lyceum, also shared his experiences in the school while also learning basic taekwondo skills from the school’s jin team.
