Kapuso stars Gil Cuerva, Paul Salas, and Mavy Legaspi are warmed up and ready for the All-Star game on Sunday.
On Saturday, players from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and celebrities from GMA Network held practice sessions at the Mapua University gym in preparation for the Sunday talent showcase.
Team Saints' Cuerva and Salas shared that their practice sessions were equally challenging and fun.
“Good workout siya, nakakapagod talaga. Warm-up pa lang, pagod na ako," said Cuerva.
(It's a good workout, really tiring. I'm already tired with the warm-up.)
"But ang daming lesson. Ang daming natutunan,” Salas added.
(But there are many lessons. One can learn many things.)
Meanwhile, Mavy from Team Heroes said that the training reminded him of his varsity team days in high school.
“Nung una pa lang, may plays na. Tapos nung cinall out 'yung ibang plays, medyo familiar… Napakasaya. Napaka-talented ng players,” Legaspi shared.
(At first, there were plays, then the other plays were called which were familiar. It was so fun. The players are really talented.)
