A heart for public service. This is what Alden Richards and Kapuso Foundation, represented by its Founder and Ambassador Mel Tiangco, have in common.

Alden donated a part of his ‘Upsurge’ concert proceeds to Kapuso Foundation. He was joined by (from left) GMA Records Managing Director Rene Salta, EVP and COO of GMA Kapuso Foundation Rikki Escudero-Catibog, and Founder and Ambassador of GMA Kapuso Foundation Mel Tiangco. 

The Pambansang Bae chose to donate for the reconstruction of bridges in Camarines Sur to help students on their way to school.

Alden believes his donation to the Kapuso Foundation is his way of giving back.

He hopes to encourage his fellow celebrities to pay their blessings forward as well.
