GMA Music officially welcomed The Clash Season 5 champion John Rex and finalist Lianna Castillo to its roster of musicians last September 11. 

John Rex is excited to share his music for everyone as he signed a recording contract with GMA Music.

"I'm happy kasi nagagawa ko 'yung gusto kong gawin na work. Ito 'yung dream ko, ito 'yung pinagdasal ko. I'm here performing for a lot of people na sana happy sila kasi ito talaga 'yung pinaka-goal ko. My goal is to perform and entertain a lot of people," John Rex shared with GMANetwork.com.  

John Rex still feels surreal that his dream of becoming a recording artist came true. He said, "Gusto ko siyang mas tumagal pa kaya I'm happy na nandito ako ngayon at nag-sign sa GMA Music."

Now that he is officially part of GMA Music, John Rex is excited to release his own songs. He also wishes to record drama soundtracks.

Liana Castillo feels blessed to have the chance to become a GMA Music recording artist.

"Happy na happy po kasi hindi lang siya nag-stop sa The Clash patuloy pa rin po siya so I'm happy po and feeling blessed," Liana shared as she signed a recording contract with GMA Music. 

Liana's goal in the music industry is to go internationally. She explained, "Syempre po dreaming big na. Pero at the moment po simulan ko po muna rito sa Pilipinas."

Aside from singing, Liana also explores acting and dancing. 

Liana wants to collaborate with Aicelle Santos. She shared, "Kasi sobrang galing niya po. Inaabangan ko rin po sila noon sa La Diva po nila, 'yung trio po nila before. Wishing po someday."
