Seb Pajarillo reminisces past love in new single 'Dati Pa'
Seb Pajarillo's second single 'Dati Pa' under GMA Playlist will be released this Friday, November 22.
Kapuso artist Seb Pajarillo is back with new music, this time with a heart-wrenching track titled "Dati Pa," his sophomore single under GMA Playlist.
This marks Seb Pajarillo's first release in a year and a half, following his debut single "Want You" in March 2023.
"Dati Pa" is a heartbreak song about reminiscing on a past relationship.
"The lyrics of this song ay umiikot sa pag-reminisce ng dating kayo, nung past relationship mo," Seb explained about the song.
He continued, "Sana pala ganito na lang tayo or sana pala hindi na tayo nagbago kasi ngayon parang hindi ka na 'yung tulad ng dati. [Sobrang] masakit s'ya sa [puso] pero ibang klase 'yung lyrics and 'yung rendition ng music."
According to Seb, his new single was unexpected for him because he got used to performing love songs, as well as everything that makes you feel butterflies.
"Noong ginawa namin itong music na 'to, I was like, 'Wow! Kaya ko pala humugot ng masakit.' Itong song na 'to na-challenge talaga ako rito kasi bago para sa akin ang genre," he added.
"Dati Pa" will be released on digital music platforms this Friday, November 22.
