Crystal Paras fights for love in new single 'You, Me, and Us'
Crystal Paras' second single "You, Me, and Us" under GMA Playlist will be released this Friday, October 11.
StarStruck 7 alumna and Sparkle artist Crystal Paras is back with another love song titled "You, Me, and Us," her sophomore single under GMA Playlist.
This marks Crystal's first release in two years, following her debut single "Hintay" in January 2022.
"You, Me, and Us" is a love song about people who will never give up without giving a good fight.
"Of course, ang unang papasok sa utak ng mga tao kapag napakinggan nila 'to love life, a struggling relationship, but, of course, the main message of the song is to not give up no matter what," Crystal explained about the song.
"I want mga Kapuso to know na it's not just the romantic relationships, it's people going through some hardships with their love one at home--puwedeng kapatid, nanay, kahit sino pa 'yan na may pinagdadaanan.
"I think, somehow, if you read between the lines, applicable siya sa iba't ibang mga relasyon. Na huwag sukuan lalo na 'pag sobrang hirap na... kasi bakit pa, 'yon ang pagmamahal," she added.
Crystal said the song was introduced to her at the beginning of the pandemic. And, after all these years, she can now relate more to the song.
"We recorded the song four years ago and it didn't have that much pull on me, but after everything that I've been through after recording that song, I'm a very much different person now.
"Stronger even. And, I've been through hardships with my loved one now kaya parang mas nakaka-relate ako roon sa kanta ko."
"You, Me, and Us" will be released on digital music platforms this Friday, October 11.
