Plume's second single 'Panggap' is out now
Plume's "Panggap" is now available for streaming on all digital music platforms worldwide.
Baguio-based singer-songwriter Plume has just released his new track titled "Panggap."
"Panggap" is Plume's second self-penned single under AltG Records, a sub-label of GMA Music.
Written in 2022, "Panggap" is about someone who is trying to mend his sadness by inviting someone going through a similar phase to pretend to be happy.
"'Yung 'Panggap' po is about someone pretending to be happy. And habang nagpe-pretend s'ya, he wanted to find someone to pretend with," Plume said.
He continued, "Through their journey of pretending, they actually learn how to be genuinely happy. Dati nagpapanggap lang silang masaya, ngayon totoo na silang masaya."
Through this song, Plume hopes listeners will be inspired to be true to themselves. He said, "If you’re sad, cry. If you’re happy, laugh. I hope this song encourages people to be honest with their emotions."
"Panggap" landed on Spotify's Fresh Finds Philippines during its release on Friday, August 30. This was Plume's first release in six months, following his debut single "Beautiful" on March 1.
