JC Regino drops recording video of first heartbreak song 'Wala Na'
Here's what happened during the recording of JC Regino's latest single "Wala Na."
Singer-songwriter JC Regino, son of OPM icon April Boy Regino, has released the recording video for his first heartbreak single under GMA Music titled "Wala Na."
The five-minute video includes behind-the-scenes footage of JC's recording with GMA Music.
"Wala Na" was released on April 30. JC wrote the song last year and was inspired by his close friend's heartbreaking love story.
"Itong kantang ito naisulat ko ito dahil sa close friend ko. Pumunta siya sa akin dito iyak nang iyak. Sabi niya, 'Pare, wala na.' Wala na sila ng jowa n'ya. Ang sakit daw, humahabol pa rin s'ya. Kaso nga lang parang ibinigay n'ya na ang lahat ng gusto n'yang mangyari pero wala na e, may iba ng mahal," JC explained in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.
During its release, "Wala Na" landed at the eighth spot on the iTunes Philippines chart. The song also made it to Spotify Philippines New Music Friday Playlist on May 3.
"Wala Na" is available for streaming and download on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital music platforms worldwide.
