Liana Castillo to release debut single "Bebegurl"

This April 26, another Sparkle teen is embarking on her music journey.

Liana Castillo is debuting her single "Bebegurl" under GMA Music.

At the young age of three, Liana developed a passion for music and talent in singing — a gift that runs in the family as her father also sang for trio groups The New Dimension and Part of Three and was a backup singer for various Filipino artists.

In 2023, Liana joined and became one of the top four finalists of The Clash Season 5.

After her journey with The Clash, Liana signed up at Sparkle GMA Artist Center and attended workshops to further hone her talent.

She has since appeared on TV in shows like Good News and Pepito Manaloto.

Currently, Liana is a regular guest in the Sunday variety show, All Out Sundays.

Her debut single "Bebegurl" is the perfect anthem for other teenagers like Liana.

During her interview with GMANetwork.com, she shared the story behind the song.

"Itong "Bebegurl" it's about, ako muna before love because it can wait."

"Young pa naman po tayo, darating din naman 'yan sa buhay."

"Marami pong kabataan at mga parents na makakarelate. School muna, sarili muna, bago 'yung pag-ibig."

"Bebegurl" is a catchy P-pop track with lyrics delivering a strong message. 'Ang sabi ng mundo'y / Go chase your someone / Ang sabi ko naman / I'm not in a hurry / Boy ’wag mag-ambisyon.'
