Abby Clutario releases new album 'Lambing'
Chapman stick queen Abby Clutario has just released a new album titled "Lambing" with carrier single, "Laho"
GMA Music artist Abby Clutario is back with new music and her debut album.
Her album includes tracks "Laho," "Naglalambing," "Chichi Wo Motomete," "Tadhana," and "Ikaw Nga."
Abby shared the inspiration behind her album's name, "It's a genuine feeling of love pero hinanap mo siya sa dictionary wala siyang meaning sa English, it's a Filipino word na parang pagpaparamdam ng pagmamahal. Naisip ko 'yung "lambing" is a perfect name."
She also narrated how her new singles "Laho" and "Naglalambing" came to be. "For Laho and Naglalambing it will be like a contrast, 'yung "Naglalambing" ballad talaga and 'yung "Laho" medyo upbeat siya ng konti."
"'Yung Naglalambing mas matagal na siyang naisulat, pre-pandemic pa. We wanted to have a song na kumikiliti talaga sa OPM flavor."
"It's a typical love story pero na-tackle rin kung ano 'yung ma-fefeel mo kung bigla mong nakita 'yun ex mo."
"Mas talagang 'yung "Laho" ang mas pang Gen Z, naisip ko pa ngang ipakanta sa iba. Ang tema naman nito is paano kung may nagustuhan ka pero takot kang iparamdam."
Now that she has released her album, Abby is also going on an album bar tour for "Lambing" where she will perform with other OPM artists like Plume.

"I'd like to encourage. I wanted to present a unique show na may combination ng originals and covers," she said.
Abby also has tips for other musicians trying to find balance between songwriting and production. "Don't restrict yourself, always think out of the box and always think with your collaborator if you have one kasi sinasabi nga nila, two heads are better than one. Maraming factors and mas dumadali kapag may kapalitan ka ng opinion. Of course, hindi nawawala 'yung arguments, kaya nandoon 'yung compromise. Try to come up with the best compromise for the song."
"When it comes to finding out the balance between songwriting and producing, kailangan lang talaga naka-mindset ka."
