John Rex's love song 'Someday In Your Life' debuts strong on iTunes Philippines

The Clash 2023 champion and GMA Music artist John Rex expressed his gratitude for the warm support he received for his debut single "Someday In Your Life," which immediately landed at the 16th spot on the iTunes Philippines' Top 100 songs upon its release on Friday, February 16.
"It's official out! Saw some of your tags and comments po! Thank you for loving the song! Our song!" John Rex wrote.
Written by Elizar Dodjie Simon and music by Jimmy Borja, "Someday In Your Life" is a song about love and waiting for the right time.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, John Rex shared that the first thing that came to his mind when he first heard the song was "waiting."
"It's a song of love na... it's not expecting, it's just waiting and hoping na dumating na 'yung love of your life. Dumating na 'yung tamang panahon, tamang lugar, tamang oras na ibigay sa iyo 'yung taong mamahalin mo forever," he said.
He also shared his favorite part from the song: "Someday in your life, somewhere you will find, someone who will hold your hand and love you 'til the end of time."
John Rex explained, "'Yung stanza na 'yun para sa akin it has a deeper meaning. Someday in [my] life na maibigay ko rin 'yung love na gusto kong ibigay sa mga taong nagmamahal sa akin."
"Someday In Your Life" is now available for streaming on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital music streaming platforms worldwide.
