John Rex dedicates 'Someday In Your Life' to his parents
John Rex's debut single "Someday In Your Life" is about love and waiting for the right time.
The Clash 2023 champion and GMA Music artist John Rex is ready to melt everyone's heart with his first-ever single "Someday In Your Life." This will be his debut single as an official recording artist of GMA Music.
"Someday In Your Life" is a song of love that captures the feeling of waiting for the right person. As the song goes, "Someday in your life, somewhere you will find, someone who will hold your hand and love you 'til the end of time."
According to Joh Rex, when he first heard the song, the first thing that came to his mind was "It's waiting. It's a song of love na... it's not expecting, it's just waiting and hoping na dumating na 'yung love of your life. Dumating na 'yung tamang panahon, tamang lugar, tamang oras na ibigay sa iyo 'yung taong mamahalin mo forever," John Rex shared.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, John Rex shared that he is dedicating this song to his parents.
"Idini-dedicate ko ito sa aking parents kasi I'm hoping and praying and waiting na someday in my life maibalik ko sa kanila 'yung love na ibinigay nila for me simula noong maliit ako hanggang ngayon.
"Na sana dumating 'yung araw, 'yung tamang panahon at oras na puwede ko maibigay sa kanila 'yung love na 'yon nang buong-buo. Well naibibigay ko naman 'yung love na 'yon pero for me wala kasing katumbas 'yung ibinigay nila," he said.
