WATCH: Recording video of Gel Aquino's second single 'Ang Nais Ko'

GMA Music released the recording video of Gel Aquino's latest single "Ang Nais ko." This is her second self-penned single and her first song as a signed recording artist of GMA Music. 

The heartbreak song talks of a person repeatedly hurt by her partner in the relationship. Her partner does not care about how she feels and continues to cheat on her, eventually leaving her. So, she sings about what she desires in a relationship, hence, "Ang Nais Ko."

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Gel shared her experience in recording the song with GMA Music. She also expressed her gratitude to the record label for the wonderful outcome of the recording as well as for the beautiful arrangement.

"Syempre po, noong una nag-vocalization muna then po nakailang take kami," she said. "Tapos po [inayos] ko po muna 'yung sarili ko na kailangan 'yung feelings ko nandoon ako sa nasasaktan, brokenhearted. Kailangan po mabigyan ko po ng justice 'yung bawat salita nang may pinapahiwatig sa mensahe na nasasaktan ka. 

"Tinulungan din po ako ni Sir Kedy [Sanchez] kung paano po 'yung tamang atake po ng kanta. Nagpapasalamat po ako dahil napakaganda po ng kinalabasan ng [recording] po ng kantang 'Ang Nais Ko.' Napakaganda rin po ng ginawa nilang arrangement."

"Ang Nais Ko" debuted at the third spot on the iTunes Philippines chart. The song was arranged by Paulo Zarate and produced by Kedy Sanchez.
