"Ikaw Sana Ang Nauna'' is specifically made for the love triangle aspect of the story which involves Steve Armstrong (Miguel Tanfelix), Jamie (Ysabel Ortega), and Mark (Radson Flores). It is composed by the show's director himself, Mark Reyes, and GMA Playlist's in-house songwriter Rina Mercado, and mixed by Bryan Gajardo.
