Garrett Bolden to release new single 'Kung Malaya Lang Ako'
Garrett Bolden is back with a classic song!
Kapuso Soul Balladeer Garrett Bolden is gearing up to launch a new single. This will mark his first comeback since the release of his debut album, "Chapters", last January.
In a press interview, Garrett revealed that he will be releasing his sixth single titled "Kung Malaya Lang Ako" under GMA Music on June 16.
"Kung Malaya Lang Ako" is a revival of a Kris Lawrence song composed by multi-awarded songwriter Vehnee Saturno. It is the second time that Garrett is releasing a revival, following his previous single "Ikaw Pala" by the same artist and composer.
"We did a fresh take on this," Garrett said. "Feeling ko po sobrang blessed ko kasi growing up it's one of the songs I listen to, na I try to take an inspiration sa pagkanta. And one of the songs that lagi kong kinakanta rin sa karaoke.
"I never imagined that I'll be singing it as a single. So sobrang tuwa ako at sobrang excited ako to sing it nu'ng nalaman ko na they gonna try to make me sing this song."
"Kung Malaya Lang Ako" is now available for pre-order on iTunes until June 15. The song will be released on digital music platforms this Friday, June 16.
