Shayne Sava has released the music video for her debut single "U-Turn" featuring Saviour Ramos and Abdul Raman.
Directed by Vince Gealogo, the five-minute music video shows how someone fights for the love of her life. Though there are more reasons to leave, she chooses to fight until she finally realizes her self-worth and makes a 'u-turn' from someone she loves, but keeps on hurting her.
"The song is about whether to stay or to leave. Whether to stay because of the memories, and syempre mahal mo 'yung tao. But leave also because it's getting toxic already. And it's also about self-love," Shayne explained.
She added, "'U-Turn' kasi at the end of the song mas pinili niya 'yung sarili niya. Mas pinili niyang mag-'u-turn' doon sa taong mahal niya pero paulit-ulit siyang sinasaktan."
Shayne shared that she felt overwhelmed throughout the music video shoot because she was just imagining the scenes before, and now her dream finally came true.
"Sobra akong natuwa kasi 'yung mga scenes doon ini-imagine ko lang siya before, it's a dream come true. Another achievement po para sa akin," she said.
Listen to "U-Turn," now available for streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital music streaming platforms worldwide.
