Psalms David debuts "Ride" at the 5th spot on iTunes Philippines
Psalms David's "Ride" makes it to the top 5th place on iTunes Philippines.
GMA Music artist Psalms David starts off strong with the debut of this single "Ride."
The song debuted at the fifth spot on iTunes Philippines and has been included in the Spotify Fresh Finds PH.
During his press interview with GMA Network, Psalms shared how his time during the pandemic inspired him to pen this song with composer Kenzo Martini.
"Sobrang na-anxious po ako kung saan papunta 'yung career ko. Naisip ko po na wala naman magagawa yung pagmumukmok ko kung hindi ako kikilos at pwede naman ako maging resilient para mas ma-enjoy ko 'yung time na 'yun in quarantine.
"Hindi po siya ganoon kahirap isulat, parang isang araw ko lang siya naisulat. Meron po akong friend sa Japan, singer-songwriter, si Kenzo Martini, isa po siya sa mga tumulong sa akin na isulat itong kanta na ito."
"Naging easy po 'yung songwriting ko kasi magaling po siyang songwriter, happy po ako na isa siya sa mga kaibigan ko."
"'Yung story niya is about mag-partner na nagaway at tinawagan niya na lang si girl para mag-road trip para maayos 'yung problem. Nung pandemic po kasi hindi tayo gaano makalabas masyado kaya sa song 'yung message is about road trip."
