Now sixteen-year-old Kapuso actress-singer Kyline Alcantara feels in control of her career as she takes the lead in her first-ever solo concert, “KYLINE TAKES FL16HT.”

“Sa meetings, kasama ako [pati] sa pag-arrange ng songs [at] choreographies,” the breakout teen star told GMANetwork.com in an exclusive interview about her upcoming birthday concert this Saturday, September 8, 7 p.m. at Sky Dome.

Levelling up in roles made her feel like a responsible adult, “Doon na rin nabubuo 'yung leadership ko, kumbaga. Doon ko naramdaman na may say pala ako sa mga bagay-bagay. Kapag sinabi kong hindi pwede, hindi pwedeng ituloy. Hindi lang ako 'yung oo lang sa lahat ng bagay so doon na rin nag-start 'yung maturity ko kumbaga.”

Being 16 teaches her a lot about maturity, “Unting-unti na ako pumupunta sa mature side, or mature thinking. In control na ako sa bagay-bagay, may say. Ngayon, nararamdaman ko na 'yung pagka-leader ko somehow.”

Her freedom to do things her way paved for creativity and burning passion towards her own projects. For this, Kyline is grateful for the trust of her management as well as the opportunities given to her by GMA Network and GMA Records.
