Kyline Alcantara sets another milestone in her career as she signed a recording deal with GMA Records earlier today, April 10.
The young Kambal, Karibal star was joined by her mom Rowena Alcantara and co-manager Manny Vallester at her contract signing with GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara and GMA Records Managing Director Rene Salta.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Kyline admitted having mixed emotions about her latest feat.
She said, “Syempre masaya ako of course because they trusted me, and then ‘yun nga excited because this is a chapter of my life that I really want to be successful. Sana talaga maging successful siya and alam ko talaga magiging successful siya dahil nandyan ‘yun mga Sunflowers (fans) ko para suportahan ako. At alam ko naman hindi nila ako bibiguin ‘coz ganun sila magsuporta.”
She claimed to feel overwhelmed by the good opportunities coming her way, but the Kapuso talent is also more inspired to do better to show her gratitude and commitment to her craft.
“Syempre po baguhan palang po ako so parang hindi ko ine-expect na ganun agad ‘yung tiwala na mabibigay nila sa akin. Hindi ko siya nakita [na darating sa akin] but ngayon na nandito na siya, kailangan na siyang mag-sink in sa sarili ko at kailangan kong gumawa ng paraan para hindi magsawa agad-agad sa akin ‘yung mga tao,” she explained.
