Anthony Rosaldo to release self-penned song 'Tama Na' this November
Kapuso singer Anthony Rosaldo is set to release his first self-penned song 'Tama Na' this November under GMA Playlist.
For the first time, Anthony Rosaldo will be sharing a part of his past in his self-penned song 'Tama Na' which is set to be released this November under GMA Playlist.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Anthony shared that he had the melody of 'Tama Na' in his head when he was driving from Tagaytay after the lock-in taping of 'Ang Dalawang Ikaw.'
He revealed, "Nag-start talaga 'yung idea when I was driving for a lock-in taping pauwi sa bahay. From Tagaytay, galing akong 'Ang Dalawang Ikaw' taping, pauwi ako, tapos merong paulit-ulit na melody sa head ko that I cannot stop."
"E, ang haba ng drive ko, parang nasa Cavite pa lang, hindi pa rin nawawala. So sabi ko, parang sign na 'to na gawin ko siyang kanta."
When he got home, Anthony finished the melody that was continuously playing in his head and took a trip down memory lane to share one memory from his past.
He decided to write about his experience with his ex-girlfriend from long ago.
"Meron akong ex-girlfriend tapos parang dumating 'yung time na parang magkaiba na 'yung direction namin. Parang hindi na kami mag-go-grow together," Anthony explained.
"Pero we still love each other pero nung time na 'yun, kahit love ko pa siya [at] love niya pa ako, parang it's better to set her free because para meron pang mas magmahal sa kanya na deserved niya."
Before 'Tama Na,' Anthony has already released three songs under GMA: Larawan Mo, Maghintay Ka Lamang, and Pwedeng Tayo.
'Tama Na' by Anthony Rosaldo will be available on iTunes, Spotify, and other digital stores worldwide this November.
