"Just Enough" by Mikee Quintos debuts strong on iTunes, makes it to Spotify's Fresh Finds playlist
“Just Enough” grabs top spots on iTunes to mark its official release.
The much-anticipated single of Kapuso star Mikee Quintos is off to a hot start.
Making its debut today, September 24, “Just Enough” lands on Spotify's Fresh Finds Philippines playlist, giving listeners on the platform a chance to finally hear the song.
Meanwhile, “Just Enough” takes the number one spot on iTunes Top 200 Tracks Philippines Pop Chart.
It also sits at the top spot on iTunes Top 200 Tracks Philippines All Genre Chart.
“Just Enough” was produced by GMA Playlist and is now available for download and streaming on digital platforms worldwide.
Launched in August, GMA Playlist is the sub-label of GMA Music, and is home to a roster of talented Kapuso stars, namely, Mikee, Arra San Agustin, Anthony Rosaldo, Crystal Paras, Denise Barbacena, Faith Da Silva, Jeniffer Maravilla, Kaloy Tingcungco, Kim De Leon, Lexi Gonzales, Shayne Sava, Mark Herras, and Seb Pajarillo.
“Just Enough” is the first single released by GMA Playlist.
“Just Enough” was described by Mikee as a “love letter” to her fans. It also signifies Mikee's foray into the music scene as a bona fide recording artist.
“Of course there is pressure, bilang ikaw 'yong unang artist [by the label to release a single]. Pero 'yon din 'yong pressure na nagpalakas ng loob ko and nag-push sa akin to decide na game na, I think it's about time,” Mikee told GMANetwork.com.
“Ilang years akong naging kabado na mag-release ng kanta na sa akin or kantang ako 'yong nasa title as singer. Parang nakakakaba 'yon for me.”
Mikee added excitedly, “'Yong team ng GMA Playlist ang nag-push sa akin na lumabas ang maging matapang finally. So ito na, nangyayari na siya.”
