GMA Records welcomes another set of talents whom girls and music enthusiasts will swoon over as the boy band One Up inked a contract with the Kapuso music label.
Joemarie Nielsen, Brent Valdez, Ralf King, Jay Arcilla, Nikki Co, Arjan Jimenez, Kevin Sagra, Yasser Marta, Dave Bornea, and Prince Clemente, collectively known as One Up, signed a deal with GMA Records for their upcoming single. The contract signing was held at the GMA Network Center on November 7.
The boys expressed their gratitude and excitement for things that are lined up for them in an interview with Aubrey Carampel.
Jay said, “Siyempre nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng mga sumusuporta sa grupo namin. Sa mga nagtitiwala, maraming maraming salamat po.”
“Sobrang hinihintay po namin ang moment na ‘to na magkaroon ng single, ng album,” Dave added.
One Up also talked about their debut single titled “Smile.”
Yasser explained, “Smile is all about kung paano ma-in love. Sobrang intense pala ma-in love, hindi namin inakala na ganun pala magmahal.”
