Kristoffer Martin pursues singing career with GMA Records
Kristoffer inked a deal with GMA Records today, November 7, for his single “Paulit-ulit.”
It may be a long time coming since he entered showbiz via a reality variety show, but it is only now that Kristoffer Martin finds the right environment to pursue his singing career.
Kristoffer inked a deal with GMA Records today, November 7, for his single “Paulit-ulit.” Present at his contract signing were GMA Records A&R Manager Kedy Sanchez, GMA Records Managing Director Rene Salta, and AVP for TDMD and Talent Manager Simoun Ferrer.
The actor-singer claimed in an interview with Aubrey Carampel that signing with a record label is every singer’s dream come true.
He said, “Lalo na ako, ako gusto ko sana i-pursue ‘yung singing career ko now. Kasi before parang hindi pa masyadong clear sa akin kung gusto ko bang i-push ‘yung singing career, pero ano ba ‘yung mag-explore man lang.”
Kristoffer also expressed his hopefulness for his single to be a hit like his song for Alyas Robin Hood “Sa Piling Mo.”
“The song is about falling in love over and over again… ‘yun lang ‘yung pinaka-message nung song. Ako, ang nagustuhan ko kasi ‘yung rhythm, ‘yung music mismo itself. Ang catchy, kumbaga hindi siya makakalimutan agad. Tatatak kasi talagang paulit-ulit siya,” he shared.
