Janno Gibbs pays tribute to his idols in ‘Lalake Lang Ako’ music video

Just recently, Janno unleashed his inner action star via his music video for the carrier single of his newest album ‘Novela.’

Just recently, Janno unleashed his inner action star via his music video for the carrier single of his newest album ‘Novela.’

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, he said his concept for the music video of ‘Lalake Lang Ako’ was done in honor of his idols.
“It’s a tribute to ‘yung icons ng action movies, since fan ako,” he began.
According to the actor-singer, he grew up surrounded by posters of his childhood heroes on his bed room walls.
“Simula bata, mahilig na ‘ko talaga sa action movies. Fan ako nila FPJ, Lito Lapid. Of course may mga foreign [actors], sina Bruce Lee, Sylvester Stallone. Madami akong posters ni Rocky, ni Rambo, Bruce Lee, ganun,” he claimed.
His characters in his music video indeed alluded to The King of Filipino movies Fernando Poe, Jr. (FPJ), as well as Lito Lapid and Tony Ferrer.
