Vilmark to release first self-penned single 'Paraya'
"Paraya" is Vilmark's debut single under GMA Music.
The Clash 2021 first runner-up Vilmark will be releasing a heartbreak song under GMA Music!
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Vilmark revealed that he will be launching his first self-penned single titled "Paraya" on August 26. This will be his debut single under the Kapuso record label.

According to Vilmark, he wrote "Paraya" earlier this year while battling COVID-19. The song is about letting go of the girl he loved who had already fallen in love with another guy.
"Medyo extra special kasi I've been wanting na makapaglabas ng kanta na ako mismo ang sumulat. This is based on my experience kaya 'yung hugot ay naroon talaga. Galing ito sa isang failed relationship," he shared.
Vilmark continued, "Isinulat ko ito this year [when] I had COVID, siguro noong February. Since wala akong ginagawa, I opted na magsulat kasi sayang ang panahon and walang ginagawa. Siyempre kapag may COVID ka medyo marami kang iniisip, iba 'yung emotions mo. I used it as a chance para makapagsulat ng song.
"Since marami naman akong experiences, medyo naging madali sa akin ang pagsusulat. Nahirapan lang ako sa paglagay ng tono kasi ako rin ang naglagay ng tono. Hindi ako masyadong magaling maggitara kaya kapa-kapa lang. Natuto lang din akong maggitara during the [pandemic]. Kaya lahat ay special for me kasi 'yung music, 'yung lyrics galing sa akin, tapos especially personal experience ko pa s'ya."
"Paraya" will be available for pre-order on iTunes on August 19 until August 25.
