Kapuso actress Arra San Agustin just released her very first single "Hanggang Dito Na Lang" under GMA Playlist and it made a quick rise on the iTunes Philippines chart.
The pop ballad song has reached the second spot on the music chart.
It has also been included in Spotify Philippines New Music Friday playlist.
"ArraSanAgustin New Single," "Hanggang Dito Na Lang Out Now," and the hashtag "HanggangDitoNaLangArra" are trending on Twitter Philippines with more than 4,530 tweets.
According to Arra, she wanted her first song to be sad yet comforting at the same time.
"Yung genre po at tsaka 'yung emosyon ng song pinag-usapan po namin ito. Ako na rin po 'yung nag-suggest sa kanila. Sabi ko gusto ko 'yung sad. Gusto ko 'yung mapanakit ng damdamin," she shared in a press interview.
Arra continued, "Gusto ko ring mag-explore ng iba pang mga emotion pero for this single, doon po muna ako sa sad. Parang melancholic na vibe, pwedeng heartbreak. 'Yung kanta naman hindi lang siya sa romantic relationships, pwede ring end of friendships.
"Kasi para sa akin gusto kong maging realistic siya na may mga bagay din talaga na it doesn't go the way we plan or the way we want them too, ideally."
"Hanggang Dito Na Lang" is written by Roxanne Fabian and produced by Rocky Gacho.
