Kapuso singer Psalms David has released the performance video for his first self-penned single "Kaulayaw."
"Kaulayaw" was released on June 30, 2022 under GMA Music. The song was arranged by Ren Polumbarit and produced by Paulo Agudelo.
According to Psalms, the word "Kaulayaw" means "constant and intimate companion." Through this pop ballad song, the singer hopes to bring comfort and ease to people who will listen to the song.
"Si 'Kaulayaw' kasi noong isinulat ko siya nasa pandemic ako noon so maraming nangyari sa utak ko, sa mental health ko, and it was a note for myself na rin kumbaga," he shared.
Psalms continued, "Kapag pinakinggan mo siya 'yun ang thought ko noon, lalo kang mai-in love. Pero kung malungkot ka tapos pinakinggan mo siya puwede kang maging malungkot o maging hopeful about love."
"Kaulayaw" is now available for streaming and download on digital music platforms worldwide.
