Psalms David to release new single 'Kaulayaw'

Psalms David will be launching a new song!
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Psalms revealed that he will be releasing his first self-penned single titled "Kaulayaw" under GMA Music on June 30.
In April 2021, Psalms released his sophomore single under GMA Music titled "I Need To Know," composed by Christian Bautista.
According to Psalms, he wrote "Kaulayaw" during the height of the pandemic. Through this love song, the singer hopes to bring comfort and ease to people who will listen to the song.
"Kaulayaw" is a Tagalog word meaning constant and intimate companion. 'Yung kanta ko kasi two to three years na siyang untitled and recently lang siya nagkaroon ng title. It was given by someone special to me, one of my loved ones," he shared.
Psalms continued, "Noong sinabi niya sa akin na 'Kaulayaw' 'yung title nung kanta and kung ano 'yung meaning nun, nagustuhan ko kaagad and hindi na ako nanghingi ng iba pang options kasi it summarizes the whole song.
"'Yung time na isinulat ko 'yung kanta, iyon din 'yung naging companion ko. Ang sana maging 'Kaulayaw' din siya ng mga Kapuso natin, ng listeners natin kapag pinakinggan nila ang kantang ito."
Psalms made his debut as a Kapuso singer in March 2020 with his first original single, "Di Na Magtatagal."
