Hannah Precillas releases heartbreak anthem with 'Sadly Falling'

Kapuso OST Princess Hannah Precillas talks about the sorrows of falling out of love in her latest single under GMA Music, “Sadly Falling.”
Written and composed by director Njel de Mesa, the song's lyrics capture what Hannah personally experienced about slowly losing feelings for a person she once cherished.
“'Sadly Falling' is a timely song for those feeling sad or broken,” says Hannah. “It talks about falling out of love, and unfortunately, I also went through that kind of heartache, which makes the song even more personal for me. So, I used the pain I’m feeling and expressed it through the words and the melody of the song composed by director Njel de Mesa,” she adds.
Hannah shares how the song has already resonated with her since the first time she heard it from Direk Njel in 2020. Fast forward to 2022, as if it was meant for her, "Sadly Falling" was offered to her by GMA Music as her new single.
"Pinarinig sa akin ni Direk Njel ang kanta at nagustuhan ko talaga siya. Hindi ako broken that time pero sabi ko napakaganda nito. Two years later, nung narinig ng GMA Music ang kanta, ako raw ang unang pumasok sa isip nila at bagay raw sa boses ko ang song. Ngayon, napapanahon na siya sa akin. Ang meaning mismo ng kanta ang pinagdadaanan ko at unintentional na bumagay na rin ito sa kuwento ko ngayon," she shares.
Known for her golden voice, Hannah's talents in singing and performing were noticed when she won GMA Network’s reality talent show 'Bet ng Bayan' in 2014. In 2021, she took home the Best Novelty Award during the 34th Awit Awards for her song “Sabi Ko Na Nga Ba.” She also emerged as the second runner-up in Dangdut Academy Asia 5 in Indonesia in 2021.
