Maricris Garcia shares her journey to parenthood as she releases her new single titled “Nang Ika’y Dumating.”
Maricris began a new chapter in her life when she and her husband TJ Cruz welcomed their firstborn Adaiah Denise Garcia-Cruz in January 2021.
A few months later, the Kapuso singer and first-time mom found the perfect tune to relate her motherhood.
Maricris shared about “Nang Ika’y Dumating," saying, “This Mother’s Day is extra special for me not just because it is my first time to celebrate it, but also because together with the GMA Playlist Musicians, we recorded this song, especially for mothers. Reminding us that we don’t need a specific day to honor our mothers.
“Being a mother is not always easy, but always the best! I thank the Lord everyday for giving me a chance to become a mother. This is the most fulfilling role I will ever portray.”
“Nang Ika’y Dumating” is composed by Rina Mercado and released by Playlist Originals, a sub-label of GMA Music. It is a song that depicts a mother’s unconditional love and her steadfast promise to protect, love, and nurture her child.
