English YouTuber MariXNation was too impressed for words when she saw the recording and lyric video of Kapuso girl group XOXO for their self-titled debut single “XOXO.”
The four-piece all-female group composed of Riel Lomadilla, Dani Ozaraga, Lyra Micolob, and Mel Caluag released their fresh track via digital platforms worldwide on September 10.
XOXO has been receiving positive feedback about their single, with netizens raving about their vocals and comparing them to foreign acts like Little Mix and All Saints.
Among the latest that was captured by “XOXO” was a 21-year-old vlogger from England using the name MariXNation on YouTube.
She was all praises for Riel, Dani, Lyra and Mel while watching their performance, concluding, “No wonder why they’re called the freakin’ queens of P-Pop!”
MariXNation also encouraged her subscribers to give “XOXO” a listen.
She said, “I really do hope that they get recognized more and more because they deserve it. They are incredibly talented women. So freaking powerful! Those lyrics to that song was just everything. I’m excited for more. Like, I want more from them already.
“I’m gonna have to like go back and listen to that again because I’m mindblown. I was not expecting this. When I watched the teaser, I was like, ‘Okay, okay, these girls have powerful vocals. Their song is catchy,’ and all that. But I was not expecting it to be this freaking good. Is this song on Spotify? Because I would definitely be putting it straight away and going into my playlist.”
