Mika Gorospe inks distribution deal with GMA Music

The Clash Season 1 alumna Mika Gorospe signed an exclusive contract with GMA Music last Friday, February 7.

As Valentines Day comes close, she is set to release a song written by Diane de Mesa entitled ‘Mahal, Paalam Na’ for those who are feeling blue during this time of the year. It will be released on February 15 and will be available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music and other digital platforms worldwide.

Its music video will premiere on GMA Music’s YouTube channel and Facebook page on February 15 at 4 PM.

According to Mika, the lyrics tell a painful story,  “It’s basically a hugot song, if you’re just tired of loving someone, for your own peace of mind, aalis ka na.”

Mika finished as one of its strongest contenders in the first season of The Clash. Since then, she has captured the hearts of Filipino listeners here and abroad.

She thanks GMA Music for its warm welcome, “It feels very promising kasi ito talaga ‘yung pangarap ko, it’s very fulfilling to know that there is a record label that believes in me.”

Present in the contract signing ceremony were GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora, and GMA Music Managing Director Rene Salta.
