GMA took a huge risk with Mikee Quintos when she was cast to play Lira in the much-awaited requel of the popular Kapuso telefantasya "Encantadia" in 2016. And this risk paid off big time, both for Mikee and GMA, when she charmed avid fans of the show with her role. Her debut project was then followed up with "Onanay" where she starred opposite Kate Valdez, Jo Berry, Nora Aunor, and Cherie Gil which became an even bigger hit and even captured the hearts of Latin American viewers when it premiered in South America. Solidifying her place in the industry, Mikee has starred in various other Kapuso shows such as "The Gift," "The Lost Recipe," and "Apoy Sa Langit."
