There are driverless minibuses visitors can use in Clark

Filipinos looking forward to seeing self-driving vehicles in the country no longer have to wait as New Clark City has now debuted the country's first publicly accessible, self-driving bus.
In one of the more recent posts on their official Facebook page, New Clark City posted a minute-long video announcing the introduction of the self-driving bus. In remarks delivered during the launch, BCDA Executive Vice President and COO Atty. Gisela Z. Kalalo “highlighted the significance of reducing traffic congestion through the use of green and low-carbon electric vehicles to interconnect the three main areas in Clark--New Clark City, Clark Freeport Zone, and Clark International Airport.”
The self-driving bus and the “innovative transportation system” that will be implemented along with it was done in partnership with Japan-based Zenmov and MC Metro Transport Operation.
The self-driving bus being introduced at the New Clark City is just one of the futuristic vehicles that are being implemented all over the world. Back in February last year, the upcoming 2025 World Exposition in Osaka, Japan announced that they would be introducing and operating flying taxis during the six-month exposition running from April 13 to October 13. The companies selected include Japan Airlines (JAL), ANA Holdings in partnership with Joby Aviation, SkyDrive Inc., and Marubeni Corporation.
Both Joby Aviation and SkyDrive Inc. announced their participation on their Twitter accounts.

Dubai also announced in 2023 its plan to introduce flying taxis by 2026.
Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the approval of new air taxi stations in Dubai in a post on X, formerly Twitter. The air taxi stations or vertiports will be located at Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Dubai International Airport, and Palm Jumeirah. Once completed, it will make Dubai the world's first city with a fully developed vertiport network.

It was also in July last year that the United States' Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has now certified for testing the first fully electric vehicle that can both fly and travel on roads. Called Model A by its creators, Alef Automotive, the vehicle has vertical takeoff and landing capabilities but can also be used on public roads and parked like a normal car.
