Chelsea Manalo, Heart Evangelista attend the inauguration of Intramuros Tourist Center

Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo continues to share her beauty with Filipinos as she attended the official inauguration of the new Intramuros Tourist Center or Centro de Turismo Intramuros last Sunday, June 9.
She even posed with the beauty of the new tourism center with her Miss Universe Philippines crown and delivered Filipino-Spanish-inspired photos on Instagram or, as she would call it, the “Latina look.”
Chelsea also shared her thoughts about the new attraction and said that she was in “awe of the beauty of the walled city of Manila, Intramuros.”
Aside from Chelsea, Kapuso star and Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI) president Heart Evangelista was also present at the inauguration of Centro de Turismo Intramuros.
She was joined by her husband and senate president Chiz Escudero and posed for a photo with Senators Loren Legarda and Mark Villar, Usec. Emmeline Villar SSFI VP Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, the wife of Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel, and fashion designer Michael Leyva
After their historic inauguration last Sunday, the new Intramuros Tourist Center or Centro de Turismo Intramuros will be open to the public for free starting this Wednesday, June 12, in time with the commemoration of the 126th Independence Day.
They will operate every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Department of Tourism said that Centro de Turismo “will provide a window into the significant events that transpired in the history of Intramuros, starting from the precolonial era, to the Spanish colonial era when Intramuros was still the seat of government, to the destruction brought by World War II, and onward to the current and future developments of the Walled City.”
They also wrote online that the immersive museum was “designed to take visitors on a cultural journey through Philippine history” by exhibiting pre-colonial cultural events, significant occasions during the early history of Manila, and showcasing indigenous cultures and societies that flourished in the region.
