Pia Wurtzbach and husband Jeremy Jauncey had a luxurious Valentine's date at the Abu Dhabi hotel Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.

Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach celebrated Valentine's Day with her health in mind, as evidenced by her social media post showing her and her husband Jeremy Jauncey still working out even as they stayed in a luxurious hotel in Abu Dhabi.

In one of her more recent posts on Instagram, Pia posted several photos of her and her husband Jeremy at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, a luxury five-star hotel that is part of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and is located on a private beach. In the caption to the post, Pia wrote that she and Jeremy broke a sweat at the gym while also “consuming a whole lotta sweets.”

The gym at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental certainly is a luxurious place to break a sweat in, as it is part of the hotel's Spa & Wellness facilities. Aside from the fitness center, the hotel spa also has a membership-only beach club and a hair salon and barbers. The spa's interior design is made up of lanterns, water features, and wall mosaics that are complemented by neroli and orange blossom scents.

Treatments available at the hotel spa include a Digital Wellness Escape treatment that lasts for one hour and 30 minutes and concentrates on the head, eyes, neck, shoulders, hands, and feet; an Oriental Qi treatment that also lasts for one hour and 30 minutes and involves the use of essential oils; and the Intelligent Movement treatment that also lasts for one hour and 30 minutes that is designed to “soften muscles, release tension and aid increased mobility in the body.”

Aside from these wellness facilities, the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental also features “sumptuously designed” rooms that range from the Deluxe City View room that can be booked starting at $741 (P41,530 based on current exchange rates) per night to a Three Bedroom Palace Suite that can be booked starting at $8,101 (P454,032 based on current exchange rates) per night.

Meanwhile, the food offerings at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental include two Michelin-star restaurants: Talea by Antonio Guida that serves authentic Italian cuisine and Hakkasan that serves authentic Cantonese cuisine. There is also the Lebanese Terrace that serves Levantine cuisine, ALMA that serves Mexican cuisine, and Vendôme that serves multi-national cuisine.

The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental is just the latest luxury accommodation that Pia has showcased on her Instagram account. Last month, Pia shared photos of her and Jeremy at the Joali Being, which bills itself as the “first of its kind” in the Maldives. It offers a“collection of specialised therapies, tailored fitness routines and interactive workshops” to go along with its luxury villas, multiple culinary offerings, and wellbeing facilities.

Last year, Pia spent the holidays at the Rusacks Hotel in St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland. The four-star hotel has been around since 1887 and overlooks the town of St. Andrews, which is known as the “Home of Golf.”

It was also last year when Pia posted a photo of her and Jeremy at The Savoy London, whose history extends as far back as 1889.
