If a trip around the world is beyond your budget, you can do that at this farm resort in Cavite!

A lot of us have dreamt about traveling to different parts of the world. However, for a lot of us, this may just remain a dream as the cost of doing so is prohibitive and beyond our reach.

But if you ever find yourself in Naic, Cavite, there is a destination there that features replicas of famous attractions in other countries. Good News Kasama si Vicky Morales visited this farm resort to see what the story is behind these replicas.

Torres Farm & Resort is located in Naic, Cavite, and is owned by Frederick and Anna Rabtsun-Baylosis, a Filipino-Russian husband and wife team that first met in 2006 and got married in 2007. Because both of them were in the hospitality industry, the pair thought of starting a business and developing the farm where they live.

However, starting this business was not easy for the couple. Aside from facing difficulties when it came to acquiring capital to start the business, the resort was not an immediate success, racking in losses since the income was not enough to cover the expenses of running it.

One solution that the couple thought of was building replicas of famous landmarks around the world to give travelers and visitors of the farm resort a chance to experience these famous destinations in some way.

Since doing so, the farm resort began to gain attention, especially since it was perfect for Instagram selfies. If visitors in 2016 could only “visit” three countries, the farm resort now boasts 30 different attractions, which can be accessed by visitors for just P199.
