'Star Wars' and other movie memorabilia set to be auctioned

Movie fans looking to own a piece of movie history may soon have the opportunity to do so as an auction of film props and costumes is set to happen next month.
Reuters reports that Propstore, an auctioneer that sells entertainment memorabilia, will stage its annual live auction from November 9 to November 12. Among the items to be auctioned are the head of the droid C-3PO from Star Wars and Leonardo DiCaprio's costume from Titanic. The C-3PO head is estimated to sell anywhere from £500,000 to £1,000,000 or P34,339,665 to P68,679,331 based on current exchanfe rates. Meanwhile, the shirt, waistcoat, and trousers Leonardo DiCaprio wore in Titanic is being sold for £100,000 to £200,000 or P6,867,933 to P13,735,866 based on current exchange rates.

The sneakers are part of a short-lived clothing and accessories range called the Apple Collection, with products that ranged from sweaters, sunglasses, a toy truck, and even a windsurfer.
