Emma Chamberlain and ROLE MODEL hard launch their relationship
YouTuber and content creator Emma Chamberlain has always been private about her relationship almost to the point that no one can confirm if she really is in one. But the tides have since then turned and she's now ready to go public with her boyfriend Tucker Pillsbury a.k.a. ROLE MODEL.
Emma's known for being an icon of Gen Zs with her vests and coffee antics while Tucker's famous for his pop songs “hello!” “neverletyougo,” and “blind.” Although numerous rumors regarding their relationship have surfaced online, the couple kept their mouth shut until now.
In an interview with GQ, Emma shares, “I know that people are going to be like, 'Emma, you're a fucking hypocrite,' because I always said this is something I will never do. There's parts of our relationship that are going to be private forever, and those things we keep sacred. But I don't think we need to be secret anymore. It's just like, I'm over that shit.”
Tucker, on the other hand, admits, “We just are trying to be professional within our own careers. We had conversations about it from the start. My goal was to never be able to attribute my success or anything to someone else. I was always very proud of what I had built, so I was very scared I was just going to lose that.”
As both artists, the two, sort of, soft-launched their relationship through one of Tucker's songs “neverletyougo” in which Emma subtly starred in the music video. And now that they're out in the open, they gave the world a first glimpse of their relationship through a couples quiz on GQ.
Emma and Tucker both tested their knowledge about each other and unveiled a few facts some of us, rather, most of us have no clue about. For example, when the two of them spent their first date at Emma's house playing Fortnite, how Tucker fell in love with Emma the moment he saw her TikTok video dancing to Dayglow, how the two of them make a team effort to look for Timothee Chalamet in every party, and how much of an avid Chamberlain Coffee fan Tucker is.
The two didn't reveal the exact date when they started dating but Tucker did admit that his song “blind” which was released last 2020 was about Emma so we're guessing 2020? Or earlier than that. Regardless, we're happy for the hip couple who looked like a match made in heaven.
