A24 releases trailer of new soft romantic drama film 'Past Lives'
A24 and Korean drama enthusiasts unite! The studio behind films Aftersun, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Lady Bird, Minari, The Witch, and Hereditary is set to release another masterpiece that explores the intricacies of human relationships.
Based on the new trailer, Past Lives follows the reunion of two childhood friends who decide to reconnect with each other after 20 years. As Nora reunites with Hae Sung, her husband Arthur is left to deal with the situation. The film stars actors Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro.
Past Lives is written and directed by Celine Song and is said to be the directorial debut of the filmmaker. Reviews from various publications state, “The year's first great movie,” “A stunning, pitch-perfect romance,” and “Gentle, funny, and achingly gorgeous. A miraculous film.”
There's no set release date yet for the film but we're sure people will flock to the cinemas to witness its soft and tender energy. Plus, it's from A24.
