The James Bond franchise celebrates its 60th year this coming October and as part of the celebrations, an Aston Martin stunt car and 59 other pieces of James Bond memorabilia will be auctioned off.

The Aston Martin DB5 stunt car used in No Time to Die joins other lots such as costumes worn by cast members Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, and Lashana Lynch, as well as a signed No Time to Die clapperboard. The auction will be held on Wednesday, with a live auction and online auction component. Bidding closes on October 5, James Bond day.

Estimates for the Aston Martin stunt car are at $1.62 million to $2.16 million, while a tactical costume worn by Daniel Craig in the movie is expected to fetch £15,000 to £20,000.

Proceeds from the auction will be distributed to different charities.

Should the Aston Martin sell at the higher end of the estimates, it would still pale in comparison to the winning bid of for one of the two existing Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupés sold at auction last May. That car sold for $143 million or P8,421,552,465 based on current exchange rates.

Nevertheless, this James Bond auction is still set to raise a lot of money, as pop culture memorabilia has been raking in money over the past few months.

Just a couple of weeks ago, a jersey Michael Jordan wore to the 1998 NBA Finals sold for a record $10.1 million or P594,808,950 based on current exchange rates.

A rare LeBron James trading card was also put up for auction last June at $6 million or P353,351,851 based on current exchange rates.

March also saw the sale of a rare 1999 Pokémon Base Set Shadowless 1st Edition Holo Charizard card for $420,000 or P24,734,629.

Back in June, a collection of Nike Air Force 1s sold for $502,362 or P29,585,090 based on current exchange rates.
