Disney and Pixar films and series we can't wait to watch

The past weekend was such a treat for all Disney and Pixar fans as Walt Disney announced their upcoming movies and series at the D23 Expo 2022.
The amount of content to watch for is a tad bit overwhelming, but fret not because here's a little rundown of some of the films and series unveiled during the expo.
2022
Strange World (November)
Coming to theaters this November, Strange World is about a family “who must get past their differences to save a strange world full of danger and surprises."
Disenchanted (November)
The original cast of the beloved magical musical Enchanted returns for its anticipated sequel, Disenchanted, next month on Disney+.
2023
Little Mermaid (May)
Halle Bailey will bring our favorite Disney princess (and mermaid) Ariel to life on the big screen next year, with the live action adaptation of The Little Mermaid.
Elemental (June)

The four elements--fire, water, earth, and air--will be living together in one city in the upcoming animated film, Elemental.
Wish (November)

For lovers of animated musicals, Wish is set for release next year. Disney said it “explores how the iconic wishing star came to be.”
Peter Pan & Wendy (TBA)
Be ready to return to Neverland next year as Peter Pan & Wendy comes to Disney+ for a live-action reimagining of the classic tale.
Iwájú (TBA)
Journey into a futuristic version of Lagos, Nigeria with this FIRST LOOK of Disney Animation and Kugali's Iwájú!

Another series coming to Disney+ next year is Iwájú, which is set in a futuristic version of Lagos, Nigeria.
2024

Inside Out 2 (Summer)

Get ready to feel all kinds of emotions as the sequel of the award-winning feature film, Inside Out, is slated for 2024.
Snow White (TBA)
Disney's first-ever princess, Snow White, will also get a live action adaptation in 2024, with Rachel Zegler playing the title role and Gal Gadot as The Queen.
Mufasa: The Lion King (TBA)
Another film to look forward to in 2024 is Mufasa: The Lion King, the prequel to the beloved classic The Lion King.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians
The much-awaited live-action adaptation of Rick Riordan's mythological series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, is finally coming soon on Disney+!
