The online masterclass held at the height of the pandemic last July 2020 helped a lot of children as proceeds from the class went to a non-government organization called Save Our Schools Network. Free and open to the public, the playlist contains classic films such as Too Young, Manila By Night, Beer House, Sugar Daddy, Problem Child, Ito Ba Ang Ating Mga Anak, Magno Barumbado, and Sugatang Puso, all of which cemented Cherie's name in the entertainment industry.
Cherie landed the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2000 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) as she took on the role of Miriam in the film Sugatang Puso and has worked with award-winning directors and filmmakers all throughout her life.
