Elon Musk is projected to become the world's first trillionaire

Chief executive officer (CEO) of Tesla, Inc., and founder of SpaceX Elon Musk is projected to become the world's first trillionaire, according to The Trillion Dollar Club report.
The tech mogul has been gracing news publications for the last few months after being hailed as the world's wealthiest man by Forbes and for acquiring one of the most well-known and well-used social media platforms of our time, Twitter.
And now, the current billionaire, whose real-time net worth as of June 2022 is $215.6 billion, is once again making headlines as a report published by Tipalti Approve suspects Musk to become the world's first trillionaire.
According to the report, a vast majority of Musk's wealth comes from his electric car company, Tesla, which he has a 23% stake in, and his space engineering company, SpaceX, that's said to generate massive income from governmental and commercial clients that have businesses in space.

Tipalti Approve states, “These two companies combined saw Musk's fortune soar from $25 billion in 2020 to $263 billion in 2022.”
“Since 2017, Musk's fortune has shown an annual average increase of 129%, which could potentially see him enter the trillion-dollar club in just two short years, achieving a net worth of $1.38 trillion by 2024 at age 52,” the report further explains.
This comes as no surprise to anyone because of the massive success of Musk's two businesses. In addition, his acquisition of one of the most successful social media platforms today. There's no stopping the current richest man in the world.
The study also included other wealthy people that have the potential to follow Elon Musk on his trillionaire journey.
The person predicted next to Musk is the founder of Adani Group, Gautam Adani, who's projected to become a trillionaire by 2025. Next is the founder and CEO of Chinese company ByteDance, Zhang Yiming, who's on track to become the third trillionaire by 2026.

Among the notable people in the report mentioned were the former richest men in the world Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. Jeff Bezos, whom Elon Musk beat for the title of the world's wealthiest man this 2022, is projected to become a trillionaire in 2030. Meanwhile, the co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, is on track to become a trillionaire by 2044.
