Here's why you should watch 'Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya ni Edgar Musical'

Filipino musical fans are in for a treat as Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya ni Edgar Musical is officially coming to life starting April 26, 2024 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

The cast and creators of the musical conducted a press conference last March 15 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater that gave fans a glimpse of their upcoming show which features iconic songs from OPM band Parokya ni Edgar.

“One of the most interesting things and one of the most beautiful things is the wide array of the type of songs [that] Parokya [ni Edgar] had.” Director Dexter Santos noted during the event.

He added, “What we like about [PNE songs] is that it transcends time [and] it transcends classes. Kumbaga, [PNE] has been part of our lives.”

Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya ni Edgar Musical officially starts on the 26th of April and will run until the 8th of June 2024. Ticket prices start at PhP1,105 for bronze seating up to PhP5,525 for SVIP. They also have Silver seating priced at PhP 2,210, Gold at PhP 3,315, and VIP at PhP 4,420. Tickets are still on sale in SM Tickets.
