A lot of celebrities are often mentioned when it comes to possible Miss Universe candidates, and one name that consistently makes an appearance is that of Liza Soberano.

Liza entering the pageant world would be a welcome development, especially with the 71st Miss Universe pageant having just concluded and the Miss Universe Philippines organization looking for pageant hopefuls to succeed current reigning Miss Universe Philippines, Celeste Cortesi.

However, those wishing to see Liza walk the pageant runway may need to wait a little longer as the 25-year-old actress is currently in the United States pursuing an acting career, with her first project being the Diablo Cody-written and Zelda Williams-directed horror comedy Liza Frankenstein

Athletes conquer the 'Body of Work' runway

Local stars and personalities took over the runway of the much-awaited Bench Body of Work fashion show last March 21 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Among those who conquered the runway of the local fashion event were weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, volleyball players Eya Laure and John Vic De Guzman, and footballer Anton Del Rosario.
