Marvel announces the cast of 'Avengers: Doomsday'

Marvel Entertainment finally revealed the cast of the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday on Thursday, March 27, in a five-and-a-half-hour-long live streaming event on YouTube.
It showed the biggest names in Hollywood assembling for the latest Avengers installment since its last movie in 2019 -- Avengers: Endgame.
Joining the prestigious cast of Avengers: Doomsday are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Danny Ramirez as The Falcon, Winston Duke as M'Baku, and Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor.
Thunderbolts* stars were also shown in the teaser like Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Lewis Pullman as Bob.
Fans are also excited for the appearances of X-Men stars Patrick Stewart as Prof. X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, and Channing Tatum.
Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn of Fantastic Four also join the Avengers: Doomsday cast as Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Thing, and The Human Torch, respectively.
The highlight of the trailer was Robert Downey Jr. sitting on his chair. He looked at the camera and gave a “Shh” to the audience. He will play the role of Dr. Victor von Doom as announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
According to the cast announcement, Avengers: Doomsday is currently in production and will hit the theaters in 2026.
