The biggest South Korean TV dance competition is officially back with a new season and a new mission that showcases the skills of the biggest dance teams from different parts of the world.
On Tuesday, March 25, MNet and The Choom introduced the dance teams competing in World of Street Woman Fighter, which included AG SQUAD from Australia, BUMSUP from Korea, MOTIV from the U.S.A., Royal Family from New Zealand, and RH TOKYO (REAL HOT TOKYO) and OSAKA OJO GANG from Japan.
These six teams will compete to name the greatest world dance team today, with “World Of K-Pop Mission” kicking off the new season.
For the “World Of K-pop Mission,” two teams will go head-to-head with their takes on some of the biggest K-pop tracks today.
AG SQUAD (Australia) and ROYAL FAMILY (New Zealand) are competing with aespa-themed choreographies, while MOTIV (U.S.A.) and OSAKA OJO GANG (Japan) are showing their dance skills to tracks by the King of K-pop G-Dragon. RH TOKYO (Japan) and BUMSUP (Korea) will go head-to-head with their takes on Jennie's hit songs.
The voting period for the “World of K-pop Mission” started on Tuesday, March 25, and will last until Saturday, March 29, and will be done by watching and liking the official dance videos uploaded on The CHOOM's official YouTube channel.
However, the results and the whole season will only be released on the official launch of World of Street Woman Fighter on May 27, 2025.
The popular dance competition premiered its first and second seasons in 2021 and 2023, hailing HolyBang and Bebe as winners, respectively.
This is also the TV dance competition that originated some popular choreographies like the “Smoke” dance challenge from Team Bebe in Street Woman Fighter 2.
