The partnership entails several initiatives like grassroots programs and even a football tournament.

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has unveiled its partnership with a local digital bank that will span for the next three years.

The partnership between PFF and GoTyme Bank positions the financial institution as the official bank of the national football organization. PFF's national teams, coaches, and players will also serve as the brand's ambassadors.

According to the digital bank, the collaboration with PFF marks a “significant step in its mission to support Filipino talent on the global stage.”

Aside from being its official bank, the partnership will also birth several initiatives from GoTyme, including a football cup, grassroots development programs, and even fan engagement projects.

The details of the GoTyme Bank Cup 2025 are still being finalized, but the tournament is expected to bring together men's and women's national teams from the Philippines, South Africa, Vietnam, and Singapore in September.

The bank is also expected to launch a series of grassroots development programs this year as it looks to develop young talents aged five to seven across the country.

These programs will focus on active community engagement, youth sports development, and financial education.

“Our goal is to reach young talent across the country, giving them access to the right resources and opportunities to develop their skills. Because the future of Philippine football doesn't start on the world stage, it starts here in communities,” GoTyme co-CEO Abet Tinio said.

Additionally, the bank said fans can look forward to limited edition merchandise, meet-and-greet events, community watch parties, and even a chance to win free or discounted tickets.

The bank said they are also looking to sponsor other emerging sports in the country in the future.

“We're not going to be going for the big mainstream sports. We're looking for other emerging sports, like football here in the Philippines, and athletes who are kind of on a similar global trajectory,” GoTyme Bank President and CEO Nate Clarke explained.

Founded in 1907, PFF is the “governing body of football in the Philippines.”
